The autumn festival dedicated to Adriatic fish and local seafood recipes, with food stalls along the Canal Port.
The Marine Nativity Scene (Presepe della Marineria) – November 29 to January 10
Italy’s only floating nativity scene, set up on the historic boats of the Maritime Museum featuring around 50 wooden statues. The lighting ceremony for the 40th edition takes place on Sunday, November 29, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

Befana Run and Befana’s Plunge (Tuffo della Befana) – January 2027
The Befana Run is a non-competitive race along the road, beach, and pine forest, organized by Pro Loco Riviera dei Pini. On January 5th, “Waiting for the Befana” features games, workshops for children, and a Befana treasure hunt through the city center streets. On January 6th, at 3:00 PM, the Befana’s Plunge takes place with a collective dive into the sea, music, and awards for the best Befana, most original costume, and largest group.

Artevento. International Kite Festival – April 23 to May 2, 2027
The 47th edition takes place on the Pinarella beach, featuring over 200 artists from more than 50 countries, acrobatic kite performances, workshops, live music, and a food area. Free entry.
Marriage of the Sea (Sposalizio del Mare) – May 9, 2027
A historical ritual with a parade in period costumes, where Cervia symbolically joins the sea by casting a ring into its waters. It takes place on Ascension Day.
